1.0 Expertise in web-based systems

Here is a list of some of my Internet and web experience.

• I started using email and the Internet in Spring 1984 (it was called BitNet at the time).
• I was network administator for Shenandoah University from 1992-1994.
• I started teaching Visual Basic in Fall 1994.
• I started teaching database using Microsoft Access in Summer 1995.
• I started using and programming on the World Wide Web in Summer 1995.
• I started publishing course content on the WWW in Summer 1996.
• I started using JavaScript in Spring 1997.
• I taught my first course using Java in Spring 1998.
• I taught my first Internet multimedia course in Summer 1998.
• I had using a high-speed cable modem Internet connection at home from 1999-2000.
• I started using ASP in Fall 1999.
• I started using PWS/IIS in Spring 2000.
• I started doing consulting in web-based systems in 2000.
• I started using SQL Server in Fall 2000.
• I have had a high-speed DSL Internet connection at home from 2001-present.
